Platform Points:

Spring Admit Program Revisions

  • There are many challenges Spring Admits at USC face, such as a lack of resources and inclusionary programs. I have been working this year with a group within the Legislative Branch to collect data on the feeling of Spring Admits for demonstrating a need of change to the administrators. This process will take more than just this year to complete and I’d be honored to work on it during the 2018-2019 school year.

Auditing Classes

  • Currently, when a student audits a class, it counts towards their 18-unit semester restriction. This discourages the program, forcing students to take under the 16-unit average. My proposal is that students be able to audit a 4-unit class while simultaneously taking up to 16 units of classes.
