Platform Points:

Student Life

  • Student Discounts: Work with the USC Ticket Office to expand opportunities for USC student discounts at on-campus events and greater Los Angeles area attractions.
  • Uber/Lyft to the Airport Program: Work with USC Transportation to create a partnership with Uber/Lyft to provide a standard fare to the airport to and from USC or to increase promotions during all breaks.

First-Year/Spring Admit Experience

  • First-Year Wellness Seminar: Enlarge my role in USG’s efforts to create a one-two unit wellness seminar covering topics such as health, safety, diversity, and self-development.
  • Peer Advising Program: Create a program where upperclassmen volunteers, under the title Peer Advisors, would give freshman/transfer students new in their school/major/program their contact information (i.e. Facebook, email, phone number) and would be available to answer any questions. This would be a more informal and faster way of obtaining answers than meeting with academic, career, or faculty advisors.
  • Laundry Cards: Advocate for the ability to pay for laundry in residential halls with USC cards or a card similar to a print card for residents who do not have access to credit/debit cards.

Student Input

  • Student Input Form: Create an anonymous google form for USC undergraduates to submit input and legislative proposals.
